Welcome to Tropes and Trinkets! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and guidelines for using our website (www.shoptropesandtrinkets.com) and purchasing our handmade polymer clay charms and figures.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Who We Are & Who Can Shop
- Our Business: This site is operated by Tropes and Trinkets.

- Age Requirement: You must be 18 years of age or older to place an order and enter into a contract with us.
- Shipping Area: We currently ship only within the United States.
2. The Order Process
- Order Acceptance: Each order we receive is a joy! However, we reserve the right to accept or cancel any order at our discretion. This may happen in specific situations, including but not limited to: suspected fraud, an incomplete or invalid shipping address, the item no longer being available, or a pricing error (see below).
- Pricing Errors: We work hard to ensure accurate pricing. In the rare event an item is listed at an incorrect price, we reserve the right to cancel the order. We will contact you via email to explain the situation and offer you the opportunity to repurchase the item at the correct price.
- Custom Orders: At this time, we do not accept custom orders or commissions. If this changes in the future, we will announce it to our wonderful community!
3. Payment
- Payment Methods: We accept a variety of payment methods, including major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB), digital wallets (Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Cash App), and "Buy Now, Pay Later" options (Afterpay/Clearpay, Affirm).
- Sales Tax: Sales tax is automatically calculated and applied to orders as required by law through our BigCartel platform.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- Processing Time: Because each item is lovingly made by hand, please allow 3-5 business days for order processing before your item ships. This does not include weekends or holidays.
- Shipping Carrier: We ship orders almost exclusively via USPS.
- Delivery Dates: We do not guarantee specific delivery dates. Once a package is in the hands of USPS, any transit delays are outside of our control.

6. Intellectual Property (Our Designs!)
This is an important one! When you purchase a physical charm or figure, you are buying the item itself, not the rights to the design.
- All original designs, concepts, and images displayed on this site are the intellectual property of Tropes and Trinkets.
- Purchasing a physical item does not grant you a license to reproduce, copy, or sell the design for commercial purposes.
7. Problem Resolution
- Customer Conduct: We are committed to providing a positive experience for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is abusive, harassing, or makes unreasonable demands toward our team.
- Limitation of Liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your order shall not exceed the total cost of the products you purchased.
- Force Majeure (Unexpected Events): We will always do our best to fulfill your order in a timely manner. However, we cannot be held liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, or other emergencies. Should such an event occur, we promise to communicate with you openly about any delays.
8. General
- Policy Changes: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the updated "Last Updated" date.
- Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
